A Burst of Gold

We had a lovely sunny early autumn day here. The dog and I danced along the Taylor River tracks. I was reveling in music... One of my favourite singers, Neil Diamond. I stopped and introduced three vineyard workers from Vanuatu to "Sweet Caroline". They were enjoying a walk on their day off. They very likely thought they had met a very strange lady clapping and singing along. Then this "last of the wildflowers" took my eye. It was such a lovely shade of gold in the autumn sunshine.
