Early Walk in Early Light

There was a lovely red sky early this morning. Red sky in the morning shepherd's warning.... Hopefully it means some rain will come our way. Maisie and I were out and about before dawn, walking the Upper Taylor River tracks. We paused here to admire the early sunlight on the hills of Meadowbank Station. The vineyard over the fence is growing Pinot Gris grapes and the nets are on the vines to protect the grapes from the ravages of birds.
