Man at work!

Busy day off - met the kids at play school and stayed with them whilst their mum went off to check on her sheep and lambs.

At midday we all trouped off to grandma's for lunch.

Home to check on the cats before trotting off to the supermarket. Phoned my mum to see if she needed anything, only to hear how ill she sounded with a bad cold.

Round to mums after shopping, sorted out the guinea pigs and cleaned the kitchen. Mum didn't want anything to eat, so I left her to go to bed and came home.

Just unpacked the shopping when a friend rang to see if she could pop round. I knew there was something bothering her even before I saw her. Her mum is suffering from dementia and the time has come to look for a home for her. Always a hard decision, but definitely the right one. Luckily, she knows people who have cause to visit care homes for training and they have given her a list of very good ones. After a cuppa and a chat she went home feeling more comfortable with the decision.

An hour of TV and posting blips to unwind and now I'm off to bed!
