Thank you for your kind words about Simons mum yesterday. It seems there has been a minor miracle there - the doctors can't believe that a woman who is receiving chemo and has had a massive stroke could possibly survive and she had been without food or hydration for four days. Simon was planning her funeral. Then she opened her eyes! She was quickly put back onto drips and equipment and was soon conscious enough to recognise them. She is now back on a general ward and was drinking a glass of water when they left her. Simon says it's been the worst 4 days of his life and it seems like a dream. There's still along way to go, but so much more positive than 48 hrs ago.
