The view

This is what I was looking at from our cabin at 6 tonight ( 9 nz time) in 30 deg heat!

Today has felt like 2 days.

Because of the time difference the kids went to bed around 9pm here ( 12 nz time) but still got up nz 7am which was 4 am here.

I'm too tired to do the math but we didn't get much sleep. Andre and I went to bed 11pm here time 2am nz time we couldn't sleep and needed time to unwind from the flight so we stayed up watching QI and drinking tea. So all in all- tired.

We left the room around 5am and went to get breakfast and coffee. We then took a walk to a little shopping center where the chemist had just opened so bought harper panadol. He was feverish through the night and this morning.

We bought ice blocks for them all and we walked back to the accommodation for a swim. When we got back we were stunned it wasn't yet even 9 am!!

The pool here is amazing. There's a big pool with a slide, a toddler pool and jet spa. There's a cafe next to the pool too!

The boys loved the swim and it cooled us all down.

We got changed and decided to go to dreamworld. We got a wheelchair taxi there which Kanye loved because he stayed in his chair on the trip.

When we got there, the staff were so incredibly helpful. We had to speak to the on site nurse about Kanye. They said there are 4 paramedics on site too and issued us a card that means we don't have to queue for rides. They also said if we needed anything to go to reception they'd organize it for us!

We set out into the park and got some lunch which cost a bit more than i had thought. We walked around looking at things.

Mar loved it all. The madagascar creatures, kungfu panda, shrek.

We walked around tiger island then into wiggle world.

Kanye nearly exploded. Wiggles everything- everywhere!

He went on dorothys tea cup ride with Andre, watched a bit of the show with captain, wags, Henry and Dorothy.

I went to the shop and got him a drink bottle, lunch box and two toys. He clutched them until we left dreamworld!

We looked around at the animals where mar patted a kangaroo and chased a lizard.

He wanted to go on the log ride. We weren't planning rides today just a walk around to see what was on etc for when we come back at the weekend.

Andre took him on the log ride and he really loved it!

It was getting a bit hotter than we were used to and harper had had enough so we got a taxi back and was the same driver we had before. He said he'd take us to seaworld in the morning to make it easy!

When we got back we relaxed for a while. I went to get subway for dinner and some things for breakfast.

The kids have only just gone to sleep it was too hot for them before.

Andre went for a swim an hour ago and I hung up some washing i did.

Such a great day. Harper is better, boys are happy! And I am super sun burnt! It would seem Australia late afternoon sun is powerful like nz midday sun.

This place is amazing. Andre seriously wants to consider moving here. He loves it. He loves the lifestyle as do I and I can see his point of view. It's just so lovely.
