Please lie to me and tell me it's on it's way

That's it I am done with snow, and ice and slush, and winter freaking boots. And dry skin.
I don't even have to dry myself when I get out of the shower. My skin just absorbs it. Even lotion and oil are lost.
Ok I know there are some redeeming parts of the cold weather:
My cool mittens.: Some look like porcupines, some like big bears and others just mittens.
Hot chocolate: I don't really like hot chocolate because I am allergic to milk. However in the winter it does not suck. Frangellico is the secret.btw the iPad hated that word.
Good oranges, big ones easy to peel and sweet. No that's not a double entendre. Get your mind out of the gutter.
No ants, at some point we get ants , everyone here gets ants. except the bitch down the road. She lies.
The snow covers up all the lanky plants in the garden that I didn't do clean up on.

And of course the dreaded 10 pounds.......duh duh duhnnnnnnn
This is why we dress in layers in the winter. It covers that thing. I hate that thing. It's my : ok I'll have another donut thing. It's my haul out the size 8 and 10s the sixes will be back in June.
Ugh. Does it stop me? No
I figure I can exercise when the nicer weather comes. Actually I am going to do the garden again. I have to tank up just a little. No use in being too skinny.
I also have scary dreams about being stuck in an elevator. I must be able to live for a few days......and if not I have a few candy bars tucked away. A girl can't be too careful.

I want spring. I want to blip pictures of my flowers. I want to be able to go into my garden for flowers instead of Whole Foods. I want to show my arms and not scare small children.

Ok sorry I had to kvetch. I feel better.
At least it wasn't pee in a jar.
