Mother's Day Mayhem

G and I headed down to the 'Island this morning, to see the Bandits, and to get my Mother's Day treats.  Very nice too: a lovely card which announced - quite correctly - that I am Queen of the Mummies.  Also, a book by an author I have never heard of - J Robert Lennon - which 'Bristles with menace and suspense - a terrific and disturbing read'.  Can't wait to get started on that.

As I have still to go and see my own mum, I got Ida to start making a card for her Great-Granny.  As she laboriously and carefully did her drawings, I looked up and saw her mummy with the identical expression on her face as she did something in her phone. 

Meanwhile, in the background, her daddy was pulling her brother about on the shiny kitchen floor, by his ankles!  (Much to amusement of said brother, of course, who was screaming with laughter!)

Since last night when I was first made aware of the rumours on Blip about something possibly happening, the uncertainty seems to be spreading.  I do hope this is all a storm in a teacup: I can't imagine Polaroid would have invested in Blipfoto without having some kind of long term strategic business plan?

Whatever happens, I'm hoping the Blipcentral guys and girls are all okay, and that we can all carry on enjoying this place.
