Movie Night

We have a movie fundraiser later this month, and it was time to check out the facilities.

Balerno Village Screen shows movies for a donation only, and there's even a free glass of wine.  Tonight's movie was 'Pride' , and for me - it had everything - dodgy 80s music and fashion, a true story, a few tears, a load of laughs and more than a smattering of Brass Bands.   It was wonderful.

Coincidentally, this weekend is the Scottish Brass Band Championships in Perth.  I still feel I am only in temporary retirement from Brass Banding, and I'm planning a trip to Perth tomorrow to check out a few old faces at the competition.

Here's Jane and No 1 (who is now old enough to drive us to the movie, take us to the pub, and drive us home again....perhaps all the money on the car insurance was worth it!?)
