Mum's Birthday

Today as well as being the first day of Spring, would have been my mum's 109th birthday.

I found this photo of her while looking through old photos with my sister a few months ago.
It was taken on the beach in Blackpool when she was 20 years old.
One of my favourite photos.
Wish she had kept that lovely parasol!

It may be officially Spring, but in spite of the hazy sunshine, the wind is bitingly cold!

Hope it warms up tomorrow for our 8 mile walk!
