Remembering Lucia

Today we accompanied Lucia's children to scatter her ashes at Wittenham Clumps - it was a beautiful day and later we sat on the grass and drank the last of the Porto her brother Alfredo had brought over for her funeral. 

A few more of her ashes went into the river and it seemed fitting that someone who loved to travel so much would flow with the water, meandering her way to the sea and beyond....
