Bear hunt

We spent the morning in the woods with half of Chorlton's under 3s! Our good friends' little boys had their joint birthday and it was quite magical. Everyone arrived at 10.30am for a teddy bear hunt/trail followed by sausage butties, toasted marshmallows by the camp fire and hot chocolate.

Squidge was dressed in her tutu and was highly flammable so we had to keep tabs on her by the open fire!!

Afterwards we drove into town (partly because she was up at 6am so we knew she needed a nap and she only naps in the car now!) I dropped off some unwanted internet delivery items to Zara and was served by the most surly shop assistant ever. He slammed down my clothes, tutted, asked me what was wrong with them very aggressively and made me feel like a criminal for returning some clothes. He picked the wrong customer. Complaint made to his manager.

Home so that I could snooze/work while Angus was on childcare and football watching downstairs (his team lost and his favourite player was sent off - dare I venture back down?)

We picked up some cerviche and fillet steaks from his work on the way back this afternoon so tonight we're having date night and a bottle of wine. We decided it's about time we put some effort in as we really haven't seen much of each other lately. It's so tempting to flop in front of the telly and not communicate if you're both tired though isn't it?
