Monday, March 16, 2015 -- the Road Home

It’s Monday's reality – time to head back to the Inland Empire and to the world of teaching. We packed-up our things this morning, loaded them in the car, and we were headed south.
 
Because we needed to make a stop at the library to return some of the borrowed items we had, we then entered the freeway north of our place in Cayucos and the road, California’s Hwy. #1, is behind and above our house. So I tried to capture a photo just as we were looking over our property--and I can see the two house roofs that are just across the street from our little place. Then just a few feet beyond there is the road sign with the mileage to the various cities south of us.It's fun to take photos of some of the interesting things we see along the way.
 
The trip took just slightly over 4 hours and we were then moving quickly toward finding our rhythm and getting back in the groove.
 
We’ll be going back to the Central Coast in less than two weeks because of a holiday I get at the college and then it won’t be long and we’ll be enjoying spring break and we’ll go to the Central Coast for that.
