I had to go to Scarborough for the day today, so Katie went for a day with friends. They sounded to have a good day - they went to church, they had a park picnic, they did some baking, had Sunday dinner, all had bubbly baths, and she was reading a story with my friend when I arrived to pick her up. 

When I got there, she was winding down, all calm. I knew it wouldn't last. For in the car was her new keyboard. She was ridiculously excited and insist we unpack, home and try it out immediately!
