Coal tit

We have two of these little birds visiting the feeders at the moment.
In and out in seconds, and then flying off into the distance.
I think they must be a pair, nesting somewhere, but unfortunately not in our
garden.

Good news!
Roof now mended. 
 Our old cottage has a stone slate roof, and two of the slates, although not broken, had a gap between them. 

It has been another nice spring day, although still a bit chilly.
Managed to get the washing dry again. Now ironed and put away.
What a nice feeling!

Looking forward to our weekend away, with friends.
May have to catch up with blip on Monday.
