Göta Kanal
Today we wanted to show Blipbear and Kiwi the lock system at Bergs slussar, which is part of the waterway Göta kanal that goes from the Baltic Sea and the east coast of Sweden right to Kattegatt and the North Sea on the west coast. The season has not yet begun, of course, so there were no boats doing the rather impressive climb. In fact, we were all alone, but that was OK because we had a geocache to find. There were also two very sociable mallards that followed us around. We went all the way down to the ground level, to better see the five meter high iron man that stands out in the water. You can see him in the distance in the picture.
Another day with a closed ice cream parlour. This cannot go on much longer.
