Fishing Tales

The boys went down to their "secret spot" on the river today. It was overcast and threatening rain, so Kaylee and I decided to go shopping instead.

BJ said the fish were slow to bite, but they both managed to snag a few. Colby is quite the little fisherman; taking ownership of his own tackle box (full of "borrowed" lures from BJ's tackle box...), finding his own honey hole of a fishing spot and he tells his fishing tales with excitement and exageration.

Their fishing trips are forming a strong bond and I couldn't be happier. They say they'll take Kaylee and I along one day... if it's up to me - I think we'll take the boat to do our fishing, leave this "secret spot" to the boys.
