Last-Minute Project
Kaylee is finishing up her autobiography for her end of year class project. This morning, she remembered that she needed a couple of recent pictures of herself for the cover and index page.
So, an imprompto photo session took place before school. Cloudy skies have provided a softbox effect with natural light - my favorite kind of lighting! Kaylee has done her fair share of modeling for me, so this pose came naturally to her and I love it. A quick processing on the computer, printing and her project is complete. I did alert her that next time a project is due, perhaps the day of isn't the best time to ask for help.
The weather is crazy this morning - a direct contrast of the weekend's gorgeous weather. The thunderstorms rolled in around 2 am (I know this because I awoke to a nervous Kaylee) and they've only strengthened as the day moves forward. At times, the thunder overpowers all other sounds and is physically felt through the ground and house. The lightning is spectacular - however, I can't see the bolts themselves, just an overall illumination of the cloudy sky.
