Porty People and Places
As we walked though a blizzard of hail/snow to collect the car - with a brand new tyre as the nail had rendered the old one unrepairable - we were amazed to see the RowPorty boat head out into the stormy snow squalls.
They were making very heavy weather of the heavy weather and I do question the wisdom of taking to the sea in such conditions.
By the time we reached the Beach Cafe we were pleased to see that common sense had prevailed and they had made a safe return to the sands.
My blip shows three students, blipping the wintry stormy beach scene with the boat making a relieved return to terra firma in the background.
Such a shot, in a glossy magazine, could have looked contrived. Not here in Porty - this is what it is really like : living in a perpetual photoshoot!!
