We had another pottering day today. We did reading and piano practice first thing, played Lego. She had a piano lesson. She was extremely bouncy for that. Very different to last time. Not sure the teacher quite knew what had happened. She's super hyper about going away too, which she told her teacher all about. She was also pleased to come back with a folder of practise exercises, which she's proud of. She's determined to work hard on them because she's been told if she works hard between now and her next lesson she can perhaps have a piano book with her first pieces of music. She came home and practised and practised.

We had to go back out late afternoon to post a pile of parcels and do a couple of jobs. She (and I!) was quite put out when a stupid driver decided to reverse into a stationary us. No damage or injury to anyone, very low speed but she was most incredulous about it- justifiably. I was pretty narked, though outwardly maintained much more respectable air than I could have.

We ended up her going to bed quite late, we haven't transitioned to new time for a start and both decided long baths were necessary so bed was a little late happening. The joys of holiday!
