Calf

Our morning routine on the croft is to accompany our host and his neighbour each morning when they feed their cattle. The little herd comprises seven beasts, four of which are highland cattle, and the other three English long horns. Two of them are calves. This one is the prettiest.

Exercise today: walk to the Temple over the machair and back to the house by the three beaches (the benefit of which was completely negated by a fabulous Easter Day lunch at the Anchorage in Leverburgh 2 hours later!)
