A gate on the Doctor's Gate path

I nipped out for a quick look at the hills from Snake Summit. Its all very wet - very wet!

I wasn't out long - Mum had a fall and a bit of fright but seems to have survived serious injury. Dad wanted to watch Sunderland v Newcastle with me so got back just after it started. What a poor game - Great goal to win it though ( Defoe for Sunderland).

The best thing about today was the sunshine and the next best the wonderful Channel 4 TV programme of Timothy West and Prunella Scales Canal journey across Scotland end on the paddle steamer Waverley
