A fine horse

We met a fine horse and kind lady rider who let me take this portrait.

This photo taken on Matley Moor between Cown Edge and Lantern Pike. The moorland was full of birds mostly Meadow Pipits but some Skylarks rising , singing and rising and singing up and up.  Curlews Lapwing seen but none of the hoped for Wheatear or Swallow
