Bus Challenge No 54!!

A day out at Heathrow Airport! Some people's idea of a nightmare, my idea of heaven!!

With my brother arriving in the UK today from Singapore for meetings in London and Manchester, I had the perfect excuse to take a bus into Bath and then a big bus (aka coach!) up to Heathrow!

Spent a couple of hours very happily pootling around the different terminals, enjoying all the hustle and bustle and comings and goings. Outside Terminal 5, the dancing fountains put on quite a show. For some reason, this lady decided that the most 'sensible' path to take was straight through the fountains!!

After meeting my brother, we took a bus out to the car hire company (which cost the same as my ticket from Bath to Heathrow!!) then headed west into the setting sun...


Bus journey time = 2 hours 40 mins
Waiting time in between buses = 35 mins
Total journey time = 3 hours 15 mins
