The quiet partner!

This is the partner of the noisy pheasant that woke me early yesterday morning.

Spent some time at the house listing the things we plan to do on the next visit and items to bring with us. We called at the local shop for some juice for Rona and discovered that they have all the basic foods that we would need within a 10 minute walk!!

Back to R’s for lunch with her and an elderly gentleman who does some volunteering at her college. Interesting conversations as he & B have a great deal in common….the RAF & aircraft for a starter.

The first sewing in the last week (most unusual for me), was some mending this afternoon. I have restored to life toys belonging to the dogs. The green thing now has legs fully attached, although not necessary pointing in the right direction and the beige duck is slim-line due to a repair to the hole in his belly. They were destined for the bin, in case the dogs came to harm from eating the stuffing.


A nice relaxing evening is planned :0)
