Meth Lab

Well, the meth lab got cleaned up rather quickly.

One of the tenants managed to get busted for drugs over a month ago, and I figured rent wasn't forthcoming. A family member of theirs cleared the house as best he could, figure this will be a long stretch for the lady in jail. But I've since nicknamed the little cottage "the Meth Lab". I'll stop calling it that soon as it's actually quite a nice little cottage that had a full refurb about 3-4 years ago.

I was hoping the Meth Lab would go vacant later in the year so I could spend a month repainting the interior and exterior before it started it's next 3 years on rental, but that didn't happen.

What did happen is that someone who had been looking for a place about 4 weeks ago expressed interest in the property and once it was cleared (trash was still there), he was in like a shot - which was this morning!

They had the place cleared, cleaned and disinfected in 2 hours flat. I believe they are putting the final bug bombs throughout the place tonight and will be moving in tomorrow.
