La Garenne d'Anneville

Today's blip was taken in a small nature reserve. La Garenne literally translates as 'The rabbit warren' and this one has some history behind it as it is recorded as being created in the mid 13th Century to supply the kitchens of the Manor des Annevilles. It is still possible to see a moat around the area which existed to keep the rabbits in. I was lucky enough to encounter a rabbit that let me approach close enough for a blip.
