Scattered light

The monthly trip to Wellington. 

After a long and tiring day yesterday, I had an early night. That allowed me to get up early for a decent run. The sunrise had yet to begin as I set out.

The lights from the wharves across the water caught my attention and this was one of my first photos. Towards the end of my run, the sunrise was imminent, the sky very red, and I got some dramatic photos. Chose this over them, and a photo of Taranaki with a snow cap, seen on arrival back in New Plymouth
