Pauciflora?
This tree/shrub is called by the rather dismissive name of Corylopsis Pauciflora, which seems to imply that the flowers are poor little things. Said flowers are certainly small, but there are a great many of them and - especially in the sun - they have a wonderful scent of lemons.
This afternoon, after a few days of rain, the sun was once more shining, and the scent from these flowers was so strong and so sweet so that they could be smelled from quite a distance. I hope the birds don't like them as much as I do ...
