Ultimate bravery
I've done the selfie thing but really, unpainted toenails takes the "is this ok to post on the Internet?" thinking to a whole other level. I am only looking at them on my phone so will assume everyone else is too and they look small, indistinguishable things in the far distance.
Anyway, after going to a very dodgy newsagents in town this morning I got some new sandals. After the shopkeeper rifled through a towering pile of parcels in the corner of the shop to look for mine. I am not sure if this is was UPS intention as a back up for when their drivers can't be bothered to knock on your door and stick it in a central location for you to go and collect. (There is more to this rant but I don't think I need to save it for posterity)
Excellent trip into town at lunch time though (this obv does need recording for posterity). Left the poorly camera in the care of the man at Jessops. Collected internet shopping of linen trousers for me and school shorts for Will, bought excellent food stuffs to support my near -vegan lifestyle and piles of shampoo and conditioner to please Daisy. All in 45 mins.
And Will has got into the junior school I wanted for him. This was not a sure thing by any means and I have dedicated many hours of futile worry to it. Now I am happily relieved. He couldn't care less so win win.
