Fishy tea

Met up with my brother in law and sister in law for a traditional Saturday family meal - centred on a selection of seafood.
We enjoyed fresh crab straight out of the shell, prawns, cockles, filet of lemon sole, smoked Alaskan salmon, and of course winkles, accompanied by crispy green salad and vine tomatoes.
It's a Saturday habit whenever we meet - a fishy evening meal. Today's crab was a
monster with plenty of white meat, though I have had better when it came to extracting the brown meat from the shell. But who am I to complain, because the crab really was magnificent.
Still sufficient crab left for a sandwich later, and a dish full of winkles which will be good for brother in law Calvin and I for another couple of days.
We may be accused of being creatures of habit, but we cannot resist those Creatures from the sea on a Saturday!
