The new Pembury Hospital
What caught my eye was the sky and the fact that the new hospital on the old Pembury Hospital site still looks like model on an architect's board even though it has been operational since 2011. Its changed its name to the Tunbridge Wells Hospital because the old hospital in TW has been knocked down. Expensive flats are being built on the town centre site and the Council have had to put on a bus service to this out of town site.
The old hospital which I obviously cannot record was built as a workhouse in 1836, became a hospital in 1936 and was knocked down in 2008.
