An Iconic Facility

Lots to do at home today, inside and in the garden.

Before any of that, I went for my early morning swim, and took this blip with my phone as I was leaving.

Two words on the front of the building here which are over-used these days - "Hub" and "Iconic" (and maybe a third - "Facility")

Orford Jubilee Hub ("an Iconic Facility") was opened by the Queen in 2012, and includes a swimming pool, gymn, sports centre, pharmacy and library. So I suppose it is a hub of sorts.

Whether it is iconic I doubt - although it is a very good swimming pool.

This technicolour display of tulips and primulas is one total clash of colours, totally over the top and not to my taste. But OK on a very grey morning.
