Magnificent Magnolia...

...backed by a beautiful blue sky and a fabulous Forsythia... sorry, I'm feeling awfully alliterative today!
Was going to leave this shot til later in the week - I've had my eye on the gorgeous blossoms and colours for a wee while now as I toddle to and from Pilates, and planned to blip it at some point.
Today I decided I'd better get on with it just in case the weather changes before the forecast suggests it will, and the whole thing droops and drops. It is a particularly magnificent specimen - right near the road, just the right side of unkempt, and with so many blossoms it's untrue.
