Cardinal

I was taking Riley for a walk when this cardinal flew across our path and landed in the crabapple tree.  It's been a cold and rainy day, the whole week so far has been chilly and rainy.  The forecasters are saying we are 50% below our average rainfall.  After a few days like this that is difficult to believe.  Things are going to be better by the weekend. 

Mr M and I have been a bit lazy today.  Last night Riley started barking around midnight.  We couldn't see that there was anything around, but something was disturbing him.  So our sleep was interrupted several times and we were dragging this morning.
