Day To Remember

Meet young Sophie, a delightful 15-month-old, who is the newest member of the family.
Like the rest of us, she clearly believes it is time to relax. The christening is over, the formalities of the church and the vicar pouring water over her forehead  are over, and this was the time to join mum and dad, grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles at a relaxed informal Sunday lunch.
So why not take the spirit of things to heart and join in.  I am assured that the Coke bottle was empty, and at best had contained merely water before she grabbed it and clung on, and no doubt emulating what she had seen at some time in the past, even maybe me, a distant uncle, at the lunch table at the restaurant at the local garden centre.

But when your elders are celebrating a solemn affair in your life . . . Well, why not join in?
