Katie had a brilliant day today. She spent it with lovely friends of ours, who have 18mth old Keira. They had a great time playing at their house and Katie ate a second breakfast of sausage sandwiches with them. They then headed for a walk along the seafront. Which turned into a play on the beach. Which turned into a play in the sea for Katie. Which turned into a new pair of shoes in the supermarket! They had lunch there and apparently Katie made light work of spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread. They spent some time at a friends house before heading to a second beach! Ice cream followed that beach trip. When I arrived for her, she was just finishing off her tea of beans on toast! Suffice to say, she fell asleep in barely any time at all!
