The twinkle in the eye

This is Andrew Graham-Dixon just after he delivered a rambling, enthusiastic and highly entertaining lecture on Caravaggio.  Despite a cold, he warmed to the audience - the Queens Hall was a sell out tonight - and the audience took him to their hearts.

I spent the earlier part of the day helping Brian to put together a booklet of poems for our Poetry walk. The walkers have written poems about the route which they will read out during the walk. I'm hoping to walk a short section on Sunday.

Bright sunshine but very cold today.
