Coastal Beauty

Following my family based blip yesterday, here is a view looking away from the intimacy of family reunion to the wild forces of nature.  I spent the afternoon walking and sitting for hours listening and watching this sight.  It never gets old and every wave is unique in its impact and unfolding.  I love the sea, its sights and sounds, and would love to have somewhere like this to visit and experience on a regular basis - but as my sister Nicky and I mused, perhaps it is the fact that we don't have this available on a daily basis that makes it so special.  I am certainly enjoying the experience and am delighted that Ali and Neil have found a spot such as this for their retirement.  We'll just have to visit them more often!
