Calton Road

A busy Friday - (for once I didn't have the boys on Thursday night, so I woke and straight into domesticity for me).

And then to school to collect Alex and off we went.

Lidl for Greek yoghurt for my monk fish marinade. (That's a marinade for the monk fish, not a marinade made out of monk fish for you foody followers of Cigs)

Then Asda for cake and birthday bits for Grace (and more of the £3 Hungarian chardonnay as well as some £2.45 French Sauvignon Grenache - if all else fails, it'll do for risotto and seafood stew....)

OT next for a book and TangleTeezer in the shape of a flower pot.

And so to town to collect her work kit and clothes for tonight. (We were there ahead of our allotted schedule so rather than fritter our time needlessly, Cigs was done)

Black paint (although massively faded - must be the cheap stuff again.

Capitals, single underline, 3 stripes over the top. From 2014 even though it doesn't tell you that.

And now for the afternoon. After the dash to collect from school, cake sale (with Neill from the bike shop), lunch and unpacking the shopping, it's duvet cover to source and seeds to plant.

Then a housework reprise. A woman's work is never done. Especially when she delegates so efficiently.
