.......still making the sauce.....

The Boss prides herself on spotting a bargain........seems like it's rubbed off on the Daughter.

She went to Asda today to get her lunch stuff for the week, celery, lettuce, ham etc....while she was there she spotted they were selling this sauce at 40p a jar (reduced from over £1 a jar) so she bought six jars!!!

The Boss went to Asda this afternoon and came back with another dozen jars...plus half a dozen boxes of Cornflakes and Cheerios which were also reduced....she also brought back a fire pit down to half price! Apparently the kids are giving me that for Father's Day....they know I do like a good fire.

We use this sauce for allsorts, home made pizza, cheese on toast, tapas....some times we even make spaghetti Bolognese with it!!.........but 18 jars?

Not to be out done when I was in the Co-op tonight getting supplies for tomorrow I noticed some blocks of cheese reduced because they go out of date over the Bank Holidays....so I grabbed one....original price £4.70....bargain price £1.03.....I win!!!!

Big fishing match tomorrow, early start again, secret bait prepared ( Pork luncheon meat marinated in chilli powder and paprika.....(sssh don't tell the boys!)
