Twin Towers - Halifax

On the left we have the octagonal Corona Chimney of Dean Clough Mills - 297 ft - Grade II listed.

On the right the 236ft spire of All Souls Church, Haley Hill - Grade l listed.

The Church of All Souls is very impressive.  Sadly it was made redundant in 1979 but fortunately it was awarded Grade I listed status and placed in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. I hear that it is open to the public on Saturdays 12 noon 'till 3pm.  I shall have to check this out.
