Day off

For the first time in ages I have had a day off; no pressing family commitments; and while there is a pile of work in my in tray nothing that cannot wait (I hope) until tomorrow.

And the sun shone. The air was cool but over the day warmed up. A chance to weed; transplant seedlings ( which should have been down weeks ago); and clear out some of the attic.

This azalea at the front door is less prolific than in previous years but still emits a delightful perfume. I've taken various shots of it over the past week as an emergency blip. But today it is the only thing I've photographed!
