Keukenhof

Those of you familiar with Keukenhof might have expected a blip entry of banks of tulips or flowers at the very least.  The Percy Throwers amongst us (that ages me - who else remembers him???) love the floral aspect but my children adore the place because it has (in no particular order) - many places to buy ice cream, cool picnic tables, great play areas and (Grace's favourite) a petting zoo/animal area.  Here you can walk amongst goats, ducks, hens, sheep and feed/stroke/sit at a table with a goat who thinks the table is a mountain, etc.).  All wonderfully interactive and immersive!  However, there is also a peacock who is a bit of a show off!  He paraded like this for a good fifteen minutes.  (Quite helpful when you want to get a good shot!)
