Munich Glockenspiel

I spent the second day of my long weekend wandering around Munich. The morning was spent running around trying to see as much of the incredible science and technology exhibits in the Deutsches Museum, followed by a walk around a slightly creepy puppetry exhibit in the Munich Stadtmuseum.

The free walking tour I'd planned to go on was very busy because of the holiday weekend so I decided to download one and see the gardens and old town myself, including this mechanical clock in the main square and stopping for beer and schnitzel in the famous Hofbrauhaus of course. I liked the group tables concept as it meant I wasn't dining alone however I definitely crashed a first date!
