Bluebell time
The bluebells in Jubilee Wood are at their fullest. Lots and lots of them, and probably a few more to bloom.
They are a delight to see and to experience, but a nightmare to capture for a blip. Our eyes see a mass of blue; in the photo you are aware of the greenery and the surroundings. A bit of work in photoshop can help, but there is no substitute for wandering, alone with the birdsong, amid this stunning gift of nature.
The contrasts with the branches, and the sneaky dog in the middle, help to give the feeling of wandering around the sea of blue. But really, you have to see them for yourself.
The extra photo is of an enthusiastic bee, making a hasty exit.
