Gorgeous George!

The new kid on the block is handsome George. He has Clydesdale in his parentage ( no kidding! ). Fortunately, he's quite calm and gentle, although after I had finished mucking out his stable and tried to walk him back in, he just stopped dead, and there was nothing I could do til he was ready to go in! I suppose a less patient person would have given him a smack but I just stood in the doorway, no pressure on the lead rope, talking to him til he decided to comply. Once in, the cuddles and a mint that we had will hopefully get him to trust me more ( mostly the mint! ).
