A slice of Lesley's life

All the fun of the fair

Starting at the end of the day, Anna and I have just returned from a fabulous evening out watching an adaptation of Roald Dahl's The Twits on stage at The Royal Court, Sloane Square. Preceded by a lovely dinner and fine people watching at Colbert on the square. And all a short hop away on the tube. Only downside was that we were a 50% depleted party but only because we are being smart and paying attention to all we have learned over the last 4 months. J had a bad night's sleep and has been quite broken today so we have given him a very low-key day and decided it was important he had a regular bedtime tonight to keep his good week on track. So far it is already going better than last night so fingers crossed.

The rest of the day has been a sorting and working one, involving a big tip run and turning the car into a double decker bus with a roof box the size of a whale. And discovering a bizarre fear of large boxes which kept Albi out of the kitchen for most of the morning. Well once she'd had a good bark to see if that got rid of it.

I like these organising, getting things sorted weekends but I'm glad it's going to be balanced out with a holiday one next week.
