Is it not a wee bit risky, plonking so HUGE a snail in the midst of it's favourite  nosh - Hostas?


It being Gaffer's actual Birthday AND a Thursday (Taking off day), we took off to Barton Grange  - AGAIN.
As I have probably mentioned, ad nauseam, it's often worth the drive down just for the meal, never mind the plants.
On this occasion we did mind them and came away with a weeping Cercidiphyllum tree to replace the one I mentioned here.
More than that; a "New" Campervan now on the cards.
How's that for an impulse buy Birthday present?
