pom poms

I went to collect Jaxon from school this afternoon, Keely had an appointment after school so just Jaxon today.
The weather for the last three days has been atrocious, the storm that was forecast for Friday hit with a vengeance during Friday night and its been constant all the weekend, and today has been spasmodic heavy rainfall, one front rolling in from the ocean after another, I can't remember the last decent down fall of rain, glad to say it has now stopped.
I was waiting for Jaxon outside school and noticed the plane tree in front of me with all its seed pods waving in the wind, its leaves brown and dry and ready for falling along with the others that had already fallen, i got out of the car and blip! thats it! then i took a blip of the tree the pods were clinging to for my extra blip.

The third blip is a total contrast, we had just returned home, having already discussed "what were we going to do today when we get back to Nan's?" on the way, "make bread and ginger nut biscuits" was Jaxon's reply, perfect!
we had just measured the ingredients for both when the door slid open and in came Nadine (our Daughter in law) with Ruby & Deklan, to print some paper work off she had sent over via email, her Printer was on the blink. 
out came the dominoes after the biscuits were cooked and mostly eaten, Jaxon was entertaining Ruby and building with them, the third blip is Jaxon's creation with dominoes, he knew it would get knocked down and wouldn't last so he took the picture with my camera, which he has used a few times and is quite the little expert putting it on other settings until he is happy with his blip, so the other blip is Jaxon,s but please don't tell!  :-))
