Archie meets Jock

Today Archie and I went to the Braidburn Valley Park - bus right to the gate and a gentle stroll with lots of benches if needed (didn't). It's also very clean - no rubbish at all, which I really appreciate.

We met up with Jock, a very bouncy cockapoo. They enjoyed a bit of boxing, running around like mad things, and then Jock showed Archie how to get into the river, but Arch just got his feet wet. Jock had the most fantastic curly shiny soft coat. His owner said that he never needed brushing. And doesn't shed hair, of course. Sounds perfect.

Archie would count this as a Very Good Walk. With boxing.

I really should get out my lovely expandable ladder and do a few windows as it's such a nice day, but I may just catch up with Ed Reardon's Week on Radio 4, then start a new book instead. Archie is sighing contentedly on my lap, so I can't really disturb him...
